Recently, Tonly Heavy Industries, in collaboration with PT KOBEXINDO, has tailored a comprehensive solution for the electrification transformation of mines for PT Borneo Indobara's (BIB for short) South Kalimantan coal mine project. As the first electrified mine construction project in Indonesia, this will facilitate the upgrading of local mine transportation towards a greener, more efficient, and more sustainable direction, effectively accelerating the green energy transformation process in the local mining industry and fulfilling the mission of green development through practical actions.

On February 9, 2026, the themed event "Electrification and Green Mining Realization" was held in Ansana. At the event, Richie Zhang, General Manager of Tonly Heavy Industries Indonesia, and Jhonly Petbun David Runtu, Sales Director of KOBEX, handed over the new energy hybrid mining truck DTH145 to the responsible person of PT.AEK. This delivery marked not only an important milestone in the cooperation between the two parties, but also a crucial step forward in the joint efforts of the three parties in the field of green mining, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth cooperation.

At the meeting, the head of PT.AEK stated that promoting the electrification transformation of the mining industry is not only a responsible commitment by the enterprise to actively respond to Indonesia's national energy and mining development policies, but also an important measure for the enterprise to achieve high-quality development and contribute to the global green energy transformation.

During this event, Tongli Heavy Industry highlighted its star solution for green mines - the DTH145 hybrid mining truck, which became the focus of attention due to its excellent performance. Equipped with advanced hybrid technology, this model utilizes an efficient range-extending system consisting of a diesel engine and a generator. This allows the engine to operate stably and efficiently, and, coupled with a high-efficiency generator, not only provides strong range-extending and energy replenishment capabilities, but also significantly reduces carbon emissions and fuel consumption while ensuring high-intensity and high-efficiency transportation needs in mines. It precisely meets the requirements for green mine construction in the BIB South Kalimantan coal mine project and aligns closely with the long-term development goal of the Indonesian government to achieve net zero emissions (NZE) by 2060, providing reliable equipment support for local mining industries to reduce carbon emissions and increase efficiency.

In addition, leveraging the "full lifecycle" comprehensive service capabilities that Tongli Heavy Industry has accumulated over many years of deep involvement in the mining industry, the DTH145 hybrid mining truck not only excels in environmental performance but also effectively reduces the overall operating costs of mines through customized operation and maintenance, efficient spare parts supply, professional technical support, and other full-process services. It helps customers achieve a triple improvement in environmental, economic, and social benefits, creating core values that are more economical and sustainable.

As the flagship model among the 90-tonne products of Tongli Heavy Industry's new energy division, the DTH145 hybrid mining truck exhibits remarkable adaptability to mining scenarios. Having undergone practical testing in numerous large-scale mining projects globally, it has been successfully implemented in international benchmark projects such as the Simandou mine in Guinea, the Muruntau mine in Uzbekistan, and mines in Mongolia. Presently, DTH145 models dispatched to Brazil and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are poised to commence operations in local mines, further expanding Tongli Heavy Industry's global footprint in green equipment.

The successful delivery of the BIB mining project by Tonly Heavy Industries this time marks not only a substantial implementation of new energy mining equipment in the Indonesian mining scenario, but also a vivid practice and promotion of mining electrification and green transportation mode in the local area. This project can fully verify the feasibility, reliability, and economy of new energy hybrid mining trucks in high-intensity coal transportation scenarios, providing a reproducible and promotable practical sample for the Indonesian mining industry to achieve carbon reduction, efficiency improvement, transformation, and upgrading. It also further demonstrates Tonly Heavy Industries' technological leadership and overall solution capabilities in the global green mining equipment field, injecting strong momentum into subsequent deepening of cooperation in the Indonesian market and assisting the local area in achieving the 2060 net-zero emissions goal.
